Interrogative

In this post, i want tell you How Ask for something or How make interrogative sentence.
Maybe i made some examples about How ask for something, but in this post i want tell you how interrogative sentence made.
For make a Interrogative sentence, you can say Desuka or Ka after positive sentence.

Or S + O + P + ka?
  S + P + ka?
  S + ka?



Example :

What time did you sleep?
Positive = Anata wa kuji ni nemashita
Interrogative = Anata wa nanji ni nemashita ka? (Polite)

Is his name Hayato?
Positive = Ano hito no namae wa Hayato desu.
Interrogative = Ano hito no namae wa Hayato desuka? (Polite)

Is his name Hayato?
Positive = Ano hito no namae wa Hayato.
Interrogative = Ano hito no namae wa Hayato ka? (Impolite)

Are you stupid?
Positive = Anata wa baka.
nterrogative = Anata wa baka ka? (Impolite)


Or you can use these words for asking :


だれ dare who
どなた donata who (polite)
どちらさま dochirasama who (very polite)
なん、なに nan, nani what
なんにん nannin how many people
いくら ikura how much
いくつ ikutsu how many
いつ itsu when
どうして、なぜ doushite, naze why?
どうやって、どのように douyatte, donoyouni how?
どのような donoyouna which kind of?
どのくらい donokurai how long?

Ano hito wa dare desuka?
Who is that guy?

Dare ga yobare mashitaka?
Who called?

Dochira sama desuka?
Who are you? (polite)

Donokurai ookina ki desuka?
How big is that tree?

Negative Sentence

In this post, i want tell you how make a Negative sentence in Japanese. For make Negative sentence, you can use ja nai or dewa arimasen. Look at those examples below.
Positive
Watashi wa nihon jin desu(わたしはにほんじんです)
Impolite Negative
Watashi wa nihon jin ja nai(わたしはにほんじんじゃない)
Polite Negative
Watashi wa nihon jin dewa arimasen(わたしはにほんじんではありません)

             

From examples above, we can conclude that :


Negative Sentence 

   S + O + ja nai / dewa arimasen.

          or

   S + O + P + shimasen.


Watashi wa kuruma o unten shimasen
I dont drive a car

Watashi wa uta ga utae masen
I cant sing
Kuruma (くるま)
Car
Unten(うんてん)
Drive
Uta(うた)
Song
Utau(うたう)
Sing

Positive Sentence

In this post, i want tell you how to make a positive sentence in japanese. Maybe you already understand and know how to make positive sentence due to examples i gave if you read other recent posts.



In English, positive sentence be defined S + P + O or S + P or S + O.
But in Japanese, positive sentence be defined S + O + P or S + O or S + P.
And after every subject and object, you can use particles like wa,wo,ga and so on.And after Predicate you use masu, da, imasu, desu

For examples :


 S+O+P

1.Jhon goes to school
  Jhon san wa gakkou e iki masu. ( ジョンさんはがっこうへいきます )
    S      O     P
  ーーーーーー ーーーー ーーーーー

2.Jhon hits a rabbit
  Jhon san ga usagi o tataki masu. (ジョンさんがうさぎをたたきました)
   S      O     P
  ーーーーーー ーーー ーーーーーー


 S+O

3.Jhon is a student
  Jhon san wa gakusei desu. (ジョンさんはがくせいです)

4.Jhon is 17 years old
  Jhon san wa 17 sai desu.  (ジョンさんは17さいです)

5.Jhon sleeps
  Jhon san ha nete imasu.  (ジョンさんはねています)


6.Jhon jumps
  Jhon san ha tonde imasu. (ジョンさんはとんでいます)
